    Which computer???

I was using a Cressi Archimeades for several years and loved it. I wanted a new computer that could be worn as a watch and also be air integrated so I started shopping around. I narrowed it to the Oceanic atom 2.0 and the Aeris Epic. I decided on the Aeris Epic because my local dive shop was...

    Job Interview in Titusville

Hi John, Hope you have a great interview. I live in Titusville and love it. Most of us drive two hours south for our regular diving fix. We usually go out of West Palm. It is two hours door to door. The diving out of Port Canaveral is good for lobster catching or spear fishing but not...

    Bluewater Divers Key Largo

I wanted to let everyone know that I tried out Bluewater Divers in Key largo on Friday Nov. 30th. They were awesome! I found out about them via scubaboard and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trip out of Key Largo. Totally personalized service, small boat, fair prices. We...

    Tipping on Cozumel

I usually go with 10-15% of the cost of the daily trip (i.e 2 tank trip cost $60 USD then I would tip between $5-10 USD). Obviously if the OP goes above and beyond I would tip more but this has been my rule of thumb.

Inexpensive dive trip *other* than Bonaire?

Try south Florida, Bahamas or Cancun/ Cozumel. Any of those places will probably be less expensive than Bonaire. Have Fun!

    Does Guinness contribute to DCS?

I am sure all of the abstainers above are correct, however there is nothing like a little "Vitamin G" back at the dock after a dive.....I have never worried about a pint or two after a dive and fortunately never had a problem. Cheers!

    Cleaning Your Gear

I'll rinse everything with freshwater as soon as I get back to the dock, then once I get home I will fill up the bath tub and let everything soak for 20-30 minutes. I let everything air dry and that's it. I have been doing it this way for 15 years and have never had any problems and my gear is...

Trip Report: Spring Break Oasis Cancun and Mayan Aqua Dive

Nice report. I remember the college spring break days.... Now midnight is about as late as it gets for me. $60 airfares from Miami...Let me know if you see those again, I would love to grab a cheap flight down there. I always seem to end up paying $4-500 round trip.

    Mayan Aqua Dive, Cancun Mexico

Gald you had a great time. M.A.D. is the way to go. I dove with them a couple weeks ago and had a blast. They are the only people I will go with in Cancun from now on.

    Grand Bahama Dive site Coordinates

A friend and I are headed to Port Lucaya May 20-22. We are taking his boat over from Florida. Does anyone have a list of dive site coordinates for Grand Bahama? Any suggestions on "must do" dives? I heard Theo's wreck is supposed to be pretty good. Thanks!

Cancun - Mayan Aqua Dive - Awesome

I love diving in Cancun. Cancun is especially great if you are travelling with any non divers. The beaches are awesome, the resorts are spectacular and the restaurants and nightlife are great. There is something for everyone to do. I can only talk from my personal experience and by no...

Cancun - Mayan Aqua Dive - Awesome

We always stay at the Omni, KM 16.5. I think you are right next door at the Royal Caribbean. Yes, it is a bit of a hike to get to M.A.D. but it is definitely worth it. I'll bet if you are real nice to Ben he will arrange transportation for you to the shop.
