Philippines Aggressor - any other feedback?

I was on the boat the past November. By Aggressor standards, it's quite nice. Nothing like the nice boats in Indonesia or Maldives, but it's decently large, rooms are decent, the dive operations are well thought out (no giant groups, good dive spot planning, and good guides), staff is good and...

LOB in Egypt dont have enough guides?

While this is true upon arrival, in our case the airline would not let you board the flight unless they were able to scan the QR code

Hotel Recommendations in Turks & Caicos (Provo)

Thanks for the info! I had contacted a dive op for a dive package as well as night dives, and they said they don't book boat night dives, but could organize a night dive for us once on the island.

Hotel Recommendations in Turks & Caicos (Provo)

With so many hotel options, I was hoping to get some recommendations for a higher-end (nothing crazy though) hotel, preferably close to grace bay / coral gardens (for possible night diving). We don't mind sleepy/boring atmosphere, it's almost preferred. Thanks!

Asking for Turneffe dive resort recomendations

For those who have been to Turneffe Island Resort, how often can you go dive Half Moon Caye? are you able to request additional trips out there if enough people want to go or for extra $$? Do they have Nitrox? Has anyone been there around October? I know it's hurricane season, but are conditions...

DREAMING OF RAJA AMPAT - Virtual Dive

beautiful video! Did a 10 day liveaboard in Raja just about a year ago and am aching to go back! Personally, I liked the diversity of going from South to North and finally finishing off in the Dampier Strait, especially because there were some weather patterns that we managed to avoid that way...

NAUTILUS LIFELINE ON SALE! 25% off!

The product description quotes a range of up to 34 miles for AIS. Is that just a theoretical range that is not achievable as a diver holding the device at sea level?

Liveaboard Gaia Love in Raja Ampat - Trip Report

Thanks, this was actually my first attempt of any kind with a camera. My shots from earlier in the trip are noticeably less stable as I tended to move the camera around more as opposed to trying to keep it steady and float or wait for subjects to enter the field of view.

Liveaboard Gaia Love in Raja Ampat - Trip Report

great feedback, thanks! absolutely tough to cull, I think setting a firm 5 minute limit would help force me to shed some footage.

Liveaboard Gaia Love in Raja Ampat - Trip Report

I was on the Gaia Love for a 10 night sailing almost exactly 8 months ago and have finally brought myself to write a short trip report. I'm not going to spend any time describing the diving in Raja Ampat, as it is already well documented that the diving there is amazing. I have added a summary...

Is anyone planning to go on a Red Sea liveaboard in the Aug-Oct 2020 timeframe

My trip on the Red Sea Aggressor III for BDE on Sept 5 just got canceled :( Really disappointed since I had confirmed with Aggressor that the trip would go ahead and then re-booked and paid for new flights after Turkish Airlines canceled.

    Which Liveaboard Route to choose

In the midst of all the trips being cancelled, I'm looking ahead at a liveaboard in the Philippines between March and early May next year (I really hope things are somewhat back to normal by then...) Tubbataha is a must, but all the trips there are only 6-7 days, and I'm looking for something...

Wide angles - AOI or Inon?

I send Nauticam an email about this and the answer was: "Yes, it will be compatible with a usable zoom range of ~32mm-72mm. You would need to use the new Bayonet Mount II Adapter 83250. Availability is end of Feb 2020."

    Flights to Red Sea

I am indeed doing the brothers route on the RSA III. I booked back when it was still going to be the RSA I, and have no idea what that boat will look like, but I'm sure it'll be decent. Thanks for the detail @Dan that's very helpful. It does sound like it would make for a very long day and I...

    Flights to Red Sea

Did you book the day trip to Luxor through Aggressor? Was it worth it? What do the logistics look like? I'm doing the same trip this coming September. Debarking at Port Ghalib on Saturday morning and my flight out of Hurghada isn't until early Sunday morning. Wouldn't mind heading out to Luxor...
