Hi all, Is there a limit to how many accidents a dive centre can have before SSI/PADI etc take away their licence or investigate the possibility? There's a place i'm aware of that are more than a little lax when it comes to safety...

If you ever have to do that swim again take a very close look at the sand you're crossing, it's one of the my favourite places in the Gulf for nudibranch, cuttlefish, stick pipefish and porcupinefish. They usually hang around the chains and piles of rope left abandoned out in the sand.

I'd be nervous about my dive equipment if you take the night train, unless you book the private cabin which can be locked. Flying in to Chumphon or Suratthani will be a lot easier, i'd say. Check Nok Air, Air Asia and Thai Lion for flights.
