Good day everyone!
After my last tech dive I want a little more back gas than the AL 80's I trained with and use. I bought som AL 100's as an upgrade but those things are MONSTERS and just too big.
So what are suggestions and why?
- Occasional Tec diver
- Wetsuit/warmer water
- TEC depth avg...
Ah! ok thanks Guys. In case anyone cares I dove the Oriskiny last week and with adjusted SAC rates my gas consumption was SPOT on for back gas and N50...interestingly enough my O2 consumption was only 1/2 of planned
Oh well 2 or of 3 aint bad, the Oriskiny was awesome BTW, HUGE!!!!!
The Perdix records SAC as PSI per minute. No mater what I do I CAN NOT get the PSI per minute SAC to come close to the gas used.
for example: Start pressure 2816, End 1650 gas used 1166 psi for a 33 min dive. Using the recorded SAC of 10.75psi per min...which is only 363 psi??
So what am I...
A pal gave me an old Sealife strobe and I want to make it work with my Kraken case. I'm not ready to spend real $$ on dive photography, just playing. So how does it work? It will turn on and test fire but when I "flash: the little attachment nothing happens? what am I missing or is it just...
Photos mostly
Good suggestions all guys...I get it, lighting. I might go with Cali's idea and not worry about camera...better yet find someone WITH good camra and buy them beers and stuff to have them share pics.
Thanks!
Good day
I'm heading to Truk in Sept but don't have any camera's except an ANCIENT go pro. I really don't see underwater photography becoming my new "thing" so looking for minimal expense camera that will still take OK photos down to 180ft.
Suggestions? Recommendations?
Thanks!
This was included with some used dive gear I bought. All the gear was newer Zeegle stuff. I'd suspect it's some kind of lead line but seems too thin. As a marker the float is way too small. What is this??
Thanks
Copy all, thanks guys! good suggestions all. I fly for Jet Blue so I can "jumpseat" or fly up in the cockpit for free (or if open a seat in the back) so that makes it affordable but does limit some items on planning.
Oh! I didn't know there was another hotel...thanks @Larryjd1
I know! I'd like to stay longer but I'm dropping off my Wife in Hawaii on they way to Truk so don't want to leave her alone too long...she'll spend all our money on shoes and stuff!
