HI Esk, thank you so much for that feedback. That is super useful detailed info. I have indeed gone for the Inon H100+Dome. Interestingly Backscatter also say they had disappointing feedback on the UWL-09 so your feedback seems quite consistent. Particularly useful though to know that the UWL-09...
Love the pics! Were all the macro shots on this album uncropped or cropped? Were the Rhinopius/Ambon Scorpion fish and frogfish also taken with the +10 diopter or just the LX10 native? Thx
Thanks for the tip Interceptor. So if on a macro dry test for example working distance was 6-10cm, what is it likely to be in water and does that change with depth?
Hi DSR-3,
What's a tracking bracket and how do I use that option with my LX10+Ikelite housing?
On the UWL-H100, how did you find the ability to zoom in a bit past 30mm for framing or further distance opportunities? Did you find you were able to do that at all without losing sharpness or focus...
Great photos OutofOffice!
I will be near Raja Ampat, in Bangka and Lembeh in 2 weeks and am deciding between Inon UWL-H100+Dome and AOI UWL-09. I was wondering if you could share your experience of the Inon UWL-H100+Dome with me. In particular were you able to zoom through beyond the 30mm...
Thanks Interceptor, the question though is on sharpness through the zoom range between the Inon H100 + Dome II vs AOI UWL-09. They are both the same price and both vignette until you thru from LX10 24mm wide to about 30mm.
Thx Interceptor. Sharpness due to distance of lens rear element from port glass is a separate issue in which both are optimised (the Inon with a Type 1 protruding rear element for Ikelite housings as you say). I’m asking about maintaining sharpness thru zoom range. I am told by Ocean Leisure...
Thx Interceptor. I’m not worried about reflections on the AOI. I am mainly wondering about zoom through sharpness on the Inon as well as the other 2 questions. It’s a product specific question. My set up is LX10 with Ikelite housing so not going mad on cost no option wides and the choice comes...
Wondering if anyone has any views on preference between Inon UWL-H100+Dome or AOI UWL-09? In particular on sharpness, flexibility of zoom thru while maintaining that focus and dome scratch resistance?
Many thanks.
Alex

Thanks Barmaglot, NiteScuba's own that they recommended was this one, which looks pretty similar so hopefully same depth.

Hey Barmaglot, what is the M67 holder and arm you are using and what is the depth of the M67 holder thread? I am just wondering if it is deep enough if I don’t use the magnetic adaptor on my wide lens (if I find it results in too much vignette) and my wide lens thread and protrusion totals 6mm...
Hi everyone
Has anyone got experience using this NiteScuba magnetic + lock lens mount system with wide angle lenses? The male+female adaptors add about 9mm distance from the port glass so I’m wondering with the extra zooming needed to avoid vignetting how much that reduces field of view on a...
Nothing I can do about that now as already have the system (chosen over Sony and Canon 1" on Backscatter review). All i can do is make sure as possible what the degrees of compatibility are likely to be with new equipment, which you have been super awesome in helping with! I have now notified my...
Many thanks Barmaglot. That is super helpful.
So what I'm looking at in your last photo is the whole male+female assembly+lens, not just the male adaptor attached to the lens?
The distance between port glass and rear element if I was to use this magnetic system with my housing and lens then...
Thanks Barmaglot. I think they must have shipped me the wrong lens! Problem is I only now discovered that and I have already dived with the lens last Dec after it was shipped in Nov! I did notice a bit more vignetting than expected at the recommended 28mm but didn't think it was significant so...
