    Which Zeagle?

Just my .02$ as an Escape owner, About the fabric, unless you plan on making hardcore use of your BC (cave, for instance), the Escape's fabrication seems very solid. I previously owned a Dacor BC and used for wrecks, drift dives and just generally tossed it around (within the limits of...

My Zeagle Escape review (and first post!)

Yes, that's what I meant, the shots shift inside the pouch. I don't use a lot if them, the pouches were half-empty and I used very small gauge shots (home-made by a friend of mine, he loaned me some so I could try the shot system out). I found them to gather around the pouch at the lowest point...

What’s your favorite pair of fins and why?

I have a pair of Dacor Integra, which I had for a while now. I changed the straps three times and upgraded them with quick-release clip buckles. Thye're ok, not too big, yet powerful. The only thing I don't like so much is that the foot pocket is a bit too narrow. I get sore spots on long swims...

    Things you've found under water

I found a tire iron once... And too many fishing tackles to count. Which my friend sold back to fishermen at the local wharf. :D

We have lost a part of our family: FireDiver293

Rest in peace. My condolences to his family and friends. I have the utmost respect for the men and women who go into harm's way on our behalf. Thank you. "People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf." -George Orwell

    Elizabeth and Mary shipwreck

Hi, I had the chance to dive the shipwreck of the Elizabeth and Mary, a 17th century 45-tun barque. I went diving with the man who found the wreck in the shallow waters in front of his house near Baie-Trinite, on the north shore of the St-Lawrence river, Canada. The remains had been...

Eastern Canada Divers, Add your favorite dive spots to our directory!

A few of my favorites for the province of Quebec and others: -Pointe-St-Pierre et Grande-Grave, Gaspesie (excellent spot for seal sighting, it's a protected sanctuary, they're not skittish if you're respectful of distances). -Les Islets, Cote-Nord (strong currents, but there's more life to...

My Zeagle Escape review (and first post!)

Hi Scott, it's a pleasure to have my review commented by the man who made the rig! As I said, I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I guess I could become a master rethreader, but until I really have to dump everything, I'll refrain! Gotta say though that it's a vrey smooth release...

Hi all, Canadian diver reporting for duty!

Merci pour le mot de bienvenue! :satisfied: I will, as soon as I resume diving (I'm back in class for the moment, I'm somewhat busy). Quebec has a lot of nice dive spots for those who don't mind chilly waters. I'll try to dig up details about places I've dived enough to actually make solid...
