For Sale Scubapro Galileo 2 (G2) Wrist Dive Computer with TransmitterLike New In Box For Sale

I’d do $750. It has the transmitter. That’s about 50% off new. And it’s as good as new. I even had a new battery put in the transmitter.

Strobes: How do you utilize them?

I like that it is rechargeable and can be charged without removing the battery. Small size is very nice. I think I would prefer a plastic to the aluminum. 100 meters rated... Looks like the retail is $119.99 but I am seeing it for $99 on some sites. Remember to buy from your local dive...

Still for sale. Sitting in the box on the shelf. ;) It was purchased in 2018. No issues and in like-new condition. I had the computer completely reset by a dealer and the battery replaced in the transmitter as that was recommended. I am selling because I am doing less recreational diving...

    Diving in Paraty Brasil

I am visiting friends and family in Paraty for New Years. Anyone have any recommendations or experiences diving in or near Paraty? I found this company: Mergulho em Paraty | UNA DIVE

Riding a DSMB up from a deep wreck???

Works great. You modulate your ascent by paying the line out. The SMB is at the surface before you hit your first stop. After learning this, I prefer this method to anything except ascending on an anchor line. I also like to go quite negative on the wreck before inflating the SMB. For me, it...

    A question about Ascent rate

Another reason I love the Shearwater Terik. It displays ascent in actual numeric detail. It has improved my ascents. Disclaimer: I have not received money or products from Shearwater in exchange for promotion but I won’t turn down the offer. ;)

If you think technical divers don't make mistakes.

I’m amazed you were training for Trimix without computers. My instructor even requires shearwater computers specifically as required to take his class.

    Newly Certified

Congratulation and welcome to the coolest sport on the planet. I concur with the above regarding “resort” training. Go visit all your local dive shops and meet their instructors and owners and find one that makes you feel comfortable and welcome and confident in their ability to help you...

    Tech Gas Cost

MainDVR, what are the depths for the wrecks you are interested in that are driving you to tech? You might be over-thinking this a bit. Sounds like you will enjoy tech and you should dive in for sure. Depth and run time may help the tech divers provide more specific information that is...

Ryan, what was the Run Time and depth on the dive for those fills?

    For you New England divers

I dove NE out of NJ for 20 years before moving to FL -- so I thought this prospective might be helpful. I dive a 1 mil in FL for shallow dives during the warm months and a 3 mil for any other time and anything deeper than 100 fsw. I was never comfortable in anything but a dry suit in the NE...

    Alexa, what's the MOD?

What do you mean? An African or European swallow?

    Deco Software

Also, as an intersting side-note, the Teric does not currently allow the changing of high GF while in the water. They are going to add to a firmware update in the near future. All other Shearwater consoles allow for this change on the fly. No low GF changes once in the water. I’m not certain if...

    Deco Software

Ok, I totally agree with that. I think I expressed myself incorrectly. Common meaning that it is taught and is not a fire walled action. But yes, not common if you interpret that as something you would intend to do every dive or often.
