Suunto Eon Core Water Temprature Reading

I have 2 eon cores and both seem to show correct watertemps (shows 4C when deeper as water is the most dense at that temp).

Wish I had a pee valve

You can add a pee valve by yourself or have it installed in most LDS.

Would a OPV in LP port on 1st stage with higher LP pressure than the OPV is set to work?

    Doubles bands not fitting perfectly

Did you tighten the bolts little bit at a time taking turns between the bands or did you tighten one band all the way and then another? I've had similar situation and the band setteled perfectly when tighten little by little.

Are battery tanks for diving lamps still useful ?

I use separate canisters for light and heating. If you're looking for a canister for a heated vest you might want to check out tecme.de. Martin makes canisters for reasonable price. I ordered the smaller one and a local battery dealer build a 11.1v 15ah battery pack with bms for it. The whole...

    Nanight lights?

It's a bummer that you have such problem. Have you tested to fill the charge port with mineral oil for a dive? It doesn't conduct electricity and doesn't compress under pressure so it might help (altought this might be messy to clean up between dives. i personally haven't tried such thing, so...

Is it worth it? Big guy question.

I'd vote for a tall/long backplate and wing. It'll grow with your scuba "career" (e.g when chaging to doubles you just buy a bigger wing and reuse the backplate and webbing.) the adjustability of a bp/w is great. Ps. If going this route don't bother with comfort harness etc just buy the cheap...

    Nanight lights?

How much did the rubber gasket modification narrow the halo / corona around the spot? I have the same lighthead on 19Ah batterypack and i do enjoy it but mostly on settings 1 and 2 due to wide halo beam and silty waters

Suunto Eon Core Wrist Dive Computer - With Transmitter And USB

I've had EON core for 2-3 years and i'm happy with mine. It of course depends on what kind of diving your husband will be doing. For long deco dives or multiple deco dives per day I'd go with a Shearwater Perdix due to it's algorithm that has user customizable gradient factors. But for regular...

    Canister Lights

Good to know about your friends experiences about the Nanight lights. In future I'll refrain from suggesting them at least until I've gained more actual usage hours on them.

    Canister Lights

I have the Nanight C3 lighthead on a bigger battery pack (210Wh IIRC) and my SO uses the Sport 2 as a video and primary light by changing the lens depending on situation. I like both of the lights, one minor flaw(?) for my use is that the C3 has a bit wider corona that I'd like but the...

    DIY - My first P-weight

Removing the rod needed a bit of hard love but wasn't too hard with a hammer. There is rubber sheet between the tanks and the weight, tape is there keeping the rubber in place long enough that the weight is placed for long term position

Cave Diving Backup Lights / Rechargeable Batteries

Some of the bags are good some aren't. Of course any extra safety function is a plus but they aren't still 100% safe Here is a video series about lipo bags/boxes, please don't buy the cheapest one you can find. That being said, starting a fire by charging a Li-Ion battery with a quality...
