    Best Place For New/er divers.

I voted for Nassau. It came down to Cancun vs Nassau. Cancun can have some pretty stiff currents at times. Nassau rarely does. Both have very clear warm water, and plenty of stuff to see. Enjoy. TOM

    Where should I go

The Riviera Maya, Antigua and Aruba are very nice. I would probably choose the Riviera Maya or Antigua myself. My experience diving in Jamaica was not so good. I have not been to Punta Cana. If you search this forum, you will find a few posts on PC. Some good, many not so good. All...

    Dropping Diver's On Drifts

Hi Catherine; Here in South Florida, drift dives are very common. The current generally moves in the same direction, the question is how strong. Divers are dropped in groups of 2 or more. Each group is required to drag a floating buoy with a dive flag on it. I think that is a law, not...

    Equipment Packages

Hello Tommy; Welcome and good luck with your certification process. My suggestion would be to buy the best equipment that you can reasonably afford. However, only buy what you have to buy at first. Then, rent some stuff for a little while, while you get some experience. You will get to...

Recommendation for dive classes in Fort Lauderdale?

I used a very good instructor in Coral Springs for my AOW. My wife used him for her OW & AOW. He does private instruction, but he is very reasonable. Call Paul at Gator Dive School 954-341-8938. TOM

    Satellite VS Cable...

Jack; I have Dish Satellite. I switched to satellite from cable several years ago. I had problems with the picture (before high def). Numerous problems with cable being out, and the repair service taking forever to get signal back. I live in South Florida so hurricanes are a big...
