Not everyone dives with a partner. Majority of my dives are Solo, unless under instruction. That being said, I understand the risks involved and have received the proper training, and use the required gear needed to safely dive Solo. Even with a partner, they may be to far away to get to.

What depth did you reach? Size of Spare Air used? Conditions of the dive?

They didn't price them that way. Anything with the acronym "S.C.U.B.A" attached to it or remotely implied, the cost goes up by 200 percent or more. I do know Military pilots and Air Crews use them, or they used to anyways. I'm about 15 yrs out of date..

Super Divers will be dumbasses, no matter what you do or use, because if you don't do it their way, you're doing it wrong and therefore you "BAD DIVER". If you want to use your spare air, use it, it's not up to them. As it seems, that cure for stupid still hasn't been found. Just ignore them...
