i currently have a set of xl-spring straps (xs scuba) and find them too big has anyone attempted to cut thier springs and re-fit them into the black housing that comes with it? if so any comments or suggestions?? thanks! steve!

according to "DIVER" magazine out of canada, 6 or so shops in ontario will not fill or vip luxfer tanks made between 72 and 88, the reason for the ban is because of substainable load cracks caused by the alluminum alloy 6351 the tanks were made from. 1,073,000 tanks were cast from this alloy but...

It was ME diving wet!! my stupid dry suit has been in the shop for way too long i couldnt stay away from the water!! it was chilly but worth it bbp with rob and sbrooks was a bust for me and my frozen reg haha still worth getting dressed in a 7mm in -10 haha steve!

brooks, i dove the mo! this afternoon and my drysuit is still in the shop, i sucked it up and dove it wet, the vis was top notch but i froze my hands off (bring dry gloves) no ice and it was a cool 32 not that bad i guess for jan 14th. -pm me next time you go!! -you too HORN!! steve

sbrooks- just dove it wet yesterday!! it was 36 on the wreck (cold enough to freeze the nuts off a steel bridge) not a bit of ice still to warm i guess, the long range forcast looks like the temps are going to stay like this for a bit we should have 2 or 3 weeks before any surface...
