1st stage cannot turn due to din post position against jaws.
Not to make light of your credentials as I'm sure you are very qualified but I asked you to explain physically/mechanically how the stage body can be hurt being loosely put in a soft jaw vice and you replied by basically saying...
Yes, if the diaphragm cap turns freely you just need a second C spanner to hold that while you turn the environmental cap..
Please explain how putting the body loosely in a soft jaw vice can hurt the body?
Sure, done improperly damages can occur (just like with most things) but that's about...
If they are corroded together I definitely wouldnt call the reg serviced until they are dismantled and cleaned.
Just stick the body of the reg in a vice with the environmental cap sticking up. Vice doesn't have to be tight, it is just to stop the body from turning (which the din/yoke post will...
Although the person suggesting breaking one of the fundamental rules of cave diving is a cave diver himself, making your point fairly moot.
People are going to do what they do, no matter what cert they have. Knowledge should never be withheld.
I am everything on your list besides CCR. My partner is actually a marine scientist (marine biology researcher) while I hold a bachelor of Science. I can say with 100% confidence I am not even close to being a marine scientist.
Regarding your definition, I fully disagree. One must have, at the...
The level of knowledge most divers obtain of the "natural or physical sciences" from diving would be equivalent of saying someone is a mathematician because they learnt their times table's.
Interesting read, thanks for linking it. I disagree with the use of the descriptors deterministic / nondeterministic though. All deco alg implementations, including subsurface, are 100% deterministic. What is being addressed here is an algorithm analysis of too low granularity. Unfortunately...
Many ways possible.
A general way could be have a page for your dives. On said page have a list of dive titles where each title is clickable. Not sure with wordpress as I write my own sites but I'm sure they allow html access somewhat. For each title, edit the html adding a "onClick" element...
Regarding Subsurface html export.
It should produce two things
1) an html file
2) a folder containing js files.
As long as these are saved in the same directory the html file is just like a webpage. ie you can simply upload both to wordpress and then link the html file as you like.
