Question Who in Oahu picks up at Hotels?

Absolutely no response from any shop. Not even a courtesy return call or email. Have made about 3 calls and 5 or more emails. Kinda strange since We have another 2 certified divers in the group. So a total of 4 paying customers(including my 12 year old). I guess the dive shops in Hawaii are that...

Question Who in Oahu picks up at Hotels?

I used to Dive quite a lot with Dive Oahu. I am planning a trip to Honolulu the end of March. I was made aware that they no longer Pick Up at Hotels. Is there any Dive Operators that do pick up at Hotels? I was thinking with each Tank being $100 now, that they would pick up at Hotels.

Looking for reliable Oahu Dive operator end of March 2020

I last dove Oahu in 2016. Up to 2010 I would be in Hawaii about twice a year and really enjoy the diving around Oahu. I never had a problem and always got in a record number of dives while there. Last time in Oahu. I was cancelled on twice last minute by one operator, due to lack of of other...

I am trying to book with Stuart Cove and there 1-800, U.S. and skype numbers all out of service. Plus there online booking does not seem to work. Are they still in business? Recommendation for Oahu

I thought I would bump this to the top. I am visiting Oahu the first week of April. I have not actually been to Hawaii since 2009. So I know things most likely have changed. I also would like some suggestions. I dove a lot with Dive Oahu from 2005 to 2008. I liked the owner and staff there...

    Going to Bermuda, have questions?

Yes, they E-mailed back that they will be closed for January. I was told by Dive Bermuda that there are not many tourists on the island and they will try to accomdate us. Maybe this is not the time to go to Bermuda?

My Wife and I are considering going to Bermuda the second week of January. We are having little luck so far finding an operator that is open in January. Any help with finding someone open for business would be greatly appriciated. My Wife would like to participate in the wreck certificate program.

Fav places n dive shops in Koh Tao?

This is kinda true(I'd give it a 5 out of 10), but it is close to the best you'll find in Thailand. Koh Phi Phi is a close second( and more expensive). But if you are in Thailand, Koh Tao is a great destination. I've used Big Blue 3 times so far this year and have no complaints, my girlfriend...

Is it OK to travel to Thailand recently?

Just to add my observations also. Just spent a week in Koh Tao after a week in Bangkok. Had no problems, we even ran into a Red Shirt Ralley on Sukamavit and just detoured around it. Headed back to Bangkok right now and I'm not worried. Will be headed to Koh Chang next week to try out the diving.

    Thai Law concerning Dive Guides

The Day before Yesterday, my girlfriend and I were Told by one of the Instructors at Simple Life Diving in Koh Tao that it is Thai Law that we cannot Dive alone with out a guide. Is there such a Thai Law? We recently did a couple of 30msw dives out of Pattaya unescorted, and also did some...

Looking for advice on IDC/Tech training and working in Thailand for a year

I just read this thread today and wanted to add my 2 psi worth. I can't say enough good things about Jamie and Stuart at techthailand.com. Their boat the MV Trident is actually very nice. They also seem to have access to unlimited amounts of O2 and Helium. So gases are never and issue, and...
