Stacking is possible and generally it works BUT, the focusing distance becomes even smaller i.e. you need to shoot even closer to the object, the depth of field (depth range that appear focused) decreases too, the image quality degrades especially around the edges, even the tiniest shake becomes...
Good find, well done!
Nevertheless, cutting a spare screen protector I had from an old mobile phone has done the trick for me for about 2years/130 dives now with zero cost.
The glass face of my DCs serves very well for this purpose. Ratio iX3M2's screen is bigger hence better for this, but I can check my 1st stage for leaks even with my (smaller) peregrine.
That's the most common and probably the easiest way.
Apart from this you can do whatever else makes you happy (last time I checked there was no scuba police around).
Weights on top of the plate sounds not a good idea to me as it is a pretty "crowded" area with 1st stage, hoses, tank valve etc...
Out of curiosity on which part of the zipper is this happening?
In my case, it is happening between my chest and collarbone, exactly where the zipper is under constant squeeze from the shoulder strap.
I think the only solution is to replace it with a plastic zipper.
Hello @Andre171 . I don't think this is the right place for this.
Why don't you post it in the dedicated group??

Over there, several developers provide support on a daily basis.
All the best
Never heard of selita and super air in my ~20 years of visiting Indonesia. I'm not saying they don't exist - I just have never heard or used them.
Garuda is by far the best and most reliable of these. If booked well in advance tickets can be similarly priced to the others! They also offer a...
DL07 are very nice dive lights. Everything is perfect with them EXCEPT their o-rings which deteriorate within months (if not weeks) of (otherwise careful) use.
I flooded one light like this within a couple of months after purchase. Following this I inspected the o-rings of the ones I own (3 in...
Something not discussed yet - I think. Were they in standard setup or long hose?
Back during the last "fun" dive of my OW cert I was getting low on air so I let the instructor know and he thought that it would be good idea/practice for both of us to share air with an instructor trainee and...
Welcome to scubaboard @swmm129 .
About your gas consumption, the topic has been discussed here 100s if not 1000s of times.
In short, experience (i.e. keep diving) ideally under supervision (i.e. good quality training) will help you decrease it to your "normal" rate - whatever that is. Keep in...
Normal clothes work fine. Even cotton is ok-ish at these temperatures (unless you flood the suit, get large leak or sweat a lot). If you can, better avoid it to be sure.
Beware though of any bulky metal parts like zippers, buttons, grommets etc. They can get very annoying if not painful if/when...
I had the same worries with my BPW. I asked about it a friend and his reply was:
"I wish you, you dive so much that this will become a problem one day"....
About 10 years and 550 dives later, his wish hasn't become true, unfortunately...
I haven't dived with Corepen for several years now (last time was pre covid) so I don't know what the current situation is. Back then they wouldn't go to sites that far.
Under some very strange guest combinations they would go to sites near Piaynemo (melisa's garden etc) for diving, but that...
I hate it, wife loves it.
It is not so much the (disgusting) smell during consumption (I do leave her alone to enjoy life), but the burping every now and then following it is unbearable for hours. Not to mention her breath...
Luckily we live as far away as possible from any source, hence all...
Yeap. That's the solution suggested by the LDS too. The suit (waterproof d7x nylontech) came with metal zipper when I bought it new and this is its' third winter season (about 80 dives so far in total). He estimated it should last another season or maybe two before it starts leaking noticeably...
Edit: The initial problem (how to get rid of loose threads) has long been solved (I now cut them with shears or razor and/or burn them with a lighter), but the issue of threads coming loose out of that specific spot continues to date at an alarming rate. So here is a kind of an update.
As the...
