I have recently acquired a couple of Blue Steel (Faber) HP 133 tanks. Been diving Catalina AL 80’s . Question is where to start with my next weight check. I am thinking about 10 lbs off . Am I close? Or at least a good place to start?

Ok in reality Faber tanks, XS scuba faber tanks, Blue Steel Faber tanks. Are they all the same? Given the tanks are the same size of course.

Has anyone ever done a chart up on the various tanks compositions and sizes with a +/- system as to you buoyancy? As in add 2lbs lead for #$&*()’ Subtract 6 lbs lead for @;7,$£¥ Just kinda curious, my LDS has various tanks in their rental program and it’s a bitch...

Just purchased my first dry suit , 4 mm compressed neoprene. I am fairly buoyant, I currently dive with roughly 48 lbs with an AL80 and a two piece 7mm farmer John (50f water) . Any ideas how much lead to add to start out with? Thinking 4-6 lbs does that sound about right?

Anyone that’s dove Roatan give me an idea is AOW good enough or should a guy have a deep specialty certification?
