Question: I got my reg/BCD serviced a year ago and haven't dived with it...is it safe to use?

All of the above plus look at your hoses and make sure they look fine. Check regs for cracks. I like the idea of either asking your LDS to use a tank or even rent one for a few days and do it at home. You can put everything in a tub while pressurized to see if any leaks

    For Those Contemplating a BP/W Setup…

I am thinking of buying a yoga block. It’s a foam block used by yoga people. See them at marshals. Cheap and light. Looks to give a nice height adjustment

    Purchasing a BP/W

The only real adjustment you will need to work on will be dialing in new weight requirements. That should not be too time consuming but should be done in advance if possible. Setting up the Bpw can be found easily on this site or the web. So that ends up the easy part.

    Dive Computer advice please

To clarify, you know you need a depth gauge. They are built into your dive computer of course. I find consoles big a bulky. Much easier to dive with dive computer on right hand wrist, compass if needed on left (if not built into dive computer) and Spg clipped off to left waist Dring.

    Divesoft DNA review

Divesoft DNA review. Thanks to the amazing customer service at Paragon Dive Store, I ordered the new Divesoft DNA (Divesoft Nitrox Analyzer) and I finally got to use it this weekend. I am an OW recreational diver and do not have a lot of dives under my dive belt, but Nitrox was one of the...

Overthinking BP/W Choice - Are tapered wings better?

I have the Zeagle 30lb wing. Love it. I had the DGX wing and I felt it was too narrow for my liking when I threaded weight pouches to the can bands, and use the OMS STA, so I sold the wing. Even without STA, it felt too tight with weight pouches. I am now thinking of the Deep6 wing as it will...

    Looking for new wing

Waiting to see what Simon ends up with. Quick question- in the European store how do we convert the “17” wing size to North American? Is 17 kilograms and that is 34 pounds?

    Looking for new wing

@buddhasummer Simon, I agree with you on the DGX wing. I really like the Deep6 Gear wing. I know it will not be easy to get to you, but it feels like it’s built like a tank. I am on a no spending spree right now but was close to buying one as a new primary wing. The new ones look nice, but I...
