Closed New XS Scuba Thermo Isolation Manifold 3000 PSI Pro Valve

Hello. I have a new XS Scuba Thermo Pro (DIN / yoke convertible) valves and manifold set. They have been O2 cleaned, but never used and never put on tanks. I'm asking for $170, including shipping. Long story short: I planned a dive trip to Ocean City last summer, but found out after...

    Adjusting manifold

I'd like to suggest if you have lucking nuts to hold the manifold in place, I would leave them completely loose. The manifold won't just flop out of position on its own, but if I were to bang it on something (cave, wreck, etc.), I would rather the center knob to rotate than to possibly be damaged.

    Help With Drysuit Undergarments

I only have one undergarment, which is a 200 gram suit by Santi. I dive in 40 and 50 degree water regularly and although sometimes I feel cold, I can tolerate it. Usually by the end of the dive I'm shallower and therefore it is warmer. My fiance, on the other hand, has the same 200 gram suit and...

Twinsets to accomodate different wing lift capacities

I dive double 100s (12L) with a steel plate and a 40 pound (18kg) wing and I have plenty of extra buoyancy. Essentially my wing is never completely full and I typically wear an additional 4-8 pounds (about 2-4kg) If the 15L cylinders are only a few kg more I think you would be fine with the...

How much to trim drysuit wrist seals?

As already mentioned, only cut a little at a time and try it out. If your hands are feeling numb, then cut a little more. As much of a pain as it is, try cutting a little and wear the drysuit around the house. If you're not getting enough blood to your hands then cut a little more. If you're...

    Poor Gopro 7 quality

I can't find them on GoPro's website anymore, but they used to sell moisture absorbers. I did a Google search and it appears as though you can still get them from Amazon. They're really flat and I slide one inside the housing right under the camera. It is a tight fit, but it works. I re-use the...

    Removing tank boots?

This was great advice. I understand the line trap concept, but I always found it odd for those who didn't believe in boots because they didn't want rust. All of the cylinders I've seen without boots seem to have a rusty bottom. I'd rather leave my boots on during storage, transport, to protect...

    Nitrox analyzers - Top pick?

I conducted a lot of research before purchasing a Cootwo. I had high hopes, but was ultimately let down. When I first turned the unit on there was a bright vertical line on the left-hand side of the screen like a broken Gameboy. I’m guessing the screen just wasn’t lined up in the unit correctly...

    Looking for Baltimore Dive Club

I've tried looking for clubs in the area too, without success. Perhaps it's time to start a new one. I try to go to Dutch Springs at least once a month. It's a long drive, about three hours, but I think it's well worth it especially if you camp and stay for the weekend. There is plenty to see. I...
