anybody knows where could be a good area to organize a potential trip to Portugal with some deep dives in reach? experienced group looking for wrecks down to 100m.
i found Algarve but all the infos are about shallow wrecks around 30m.
thanks :)
Actually i always add helium first in partial pressure blending.
And that’s also what most of the blending app suggests for what i know. Some you choose, ok.
Thanks for the explaination anyway. :)
In our case i’m pretty sure that is injecting the helium first, because today, blending a 17/45 the first sensor read something around 9 and the second one around 17.
So the amount of helium is calculated, based on the oxygen variation after the injection... correct?
hi everybody!
I’d like to learn more about the system used to get the helium percentage using just 2 oxygen sensors and no helium analyzers at all, in this mixing stick i’m using at the moment for the blending.
I couldn’t find much on their website...
Anybody can give me a full explaination...
ok, let's understand each other.
me personally, i think the best solution is to provide what the OOAD is looking for, as fast as possible... and then keeping it at a decent distance for control.
2 regs, long hose for the one we donate. good.
the rescue course teached us that the rule is to help...
so we teach, or learn as students, an important lesson... just to do completely the opposite?
maybe on a dive pro level i could understand...
we have a different risk awareness, perception, speed in reacting to the situations and control of gear and people...
and still there's no teaching on...
sorry if i'm posting on an old thread... just read almost everything in here 'cause interested in the topic, but about a different detail.
first things first: what about that in the SSI instructor manual the donation of the primary is specified as "preferred", but is supposed to be teached along...
