You've had lots of great advice. FWIW, I had the same problem with my Zena until I sized down the waist piece of the Zena. Turns out my Zena was riding up because it was too loose, so sizing down solved the problem for me right away. YMMV. Good luck!
They actually work decently well.
Figure out where they should sit in your mask for your own needs. I've used both of the two main brands. One has lenses bigger than the other, but I forget which.
Follow the directions and they have a good chance of sticking tight for a while (multiple dive...
I'm a little shorter than you, also a warm-water diver, and love my Zeagle Zena. It has integrated weight pockets and I never worry about losing weights. I also love its vest-style fit.
There have been a number of discussions about the Zena here at SB, so you could run a search to get more...
Does anyone know the number of the corner room on the northwest side of the top floor? When you get out the elevator and turn left, it's directly in front of you.
I'm 5' 1.5" and love my Zeagle Zena. Love, love, love it. It has a vest-style zippered front that snugs into your curves and keeps the Zena exactly where it should be at all times, no shifting around.
Check out the Aqua Lung Aquaflex. I have a size 4 5mm, and with a skin suit beneath, it's very comfy and pretty easy to get on. Fit me better than anything else I tried and wasn't too tight or too loose anywhere. I liked it so much I bought the 3mm, too. It will likely fit you nicely in the...

I'm a similar age, and likely size, too, and I love my Zeagle Zena in XS. If your LDS has them, try one on. Finding the right BC is a personal search to see what feels right to you and comfy.
I can't speak to the drysuit stuff or to tech, but I get cold easily and dove in a 5mm suit in Cozumel last July (27-28ºC) and was perfectly comfortable in the water. The surface intervals were warm, but I would remove the suit from my arms and chest and would feel fine; my wet skin suit...
