OK folks...attached is a picture of the Bauer hose as well as the fitting off my lever valve. They do match up perfectly so I could use it and replace the other end to connect the fill pieces...or one of you wonderful/knowledgeable people can point me in the right direction to buy a fitting...
Thank you for replying Ray. I did pull the fitting out of the lever valve to see if I could get one to fit a JIC hose but none of the companies I've tried can provide one as it apparently is a very rare/complicated metric face seal fitting. My dive shop buddy thought it might be a Swagelok...
I have an older (1985) Bauer Capitano and would like to purchase a second fill whip for it. I've been poking around but nobody seems to know what type of connector I have coming off of the leaver valve. I know it is a M16 x 1.5 thread but can't identify the connector type. Attached are pics...
Yes I have checked both. I can tell the Securus system is working properly because when I put in the original filter the compressor did start. It no longer does but the Securus system detects its presence and states change filter. With the new filters, the Securus system simply shows them as...
Sorry for the very late reply Craig as I just got back from an extended trip to the west coast of Canada. If you can give me a day to catch up I'll review this and answer your questions. Yes I am comfortable making live voltage testing. The compressor does not start up at all, though...
Thanx for getting back to me. When I use the old Bauer filter cartridge I get a flashing red light, which states "cartridge used up, change". When I install the new cartridge I get a solid red light, which states "Cable - or contact fault". In both states the compressor motor will not...
It is a 1985 model Capitano that was purchased through Spar Aerospace in western Canada as surplus. It had been in storage for a very long time but has low hours and is in good shape for its age. I'm not electronics genus but I do have a multi-meter and can follow instructions. I did map out...
Thanks for replying to the thread. Unfortunately there was no wiring diagram inside the cover though that would have been nice. I have made my own wiring diagram and have plotted all of the wires from the Securus system as to where they go in the main electrical box as well as where it wires...
No, I checked the Securus box very carefully but all seven terminals have no markings. I do however know where the four wires ( 2 black and 2 white) on the seven terminal posts go in the main electrical box. I've named the three attachments as stated below so you can see each position.
#1 -...
OK, here is a pic of the Securus box as well as my wiring diagram. Hope you can read them well enough but I'll keep tabs on the string and hopefully we can work through this. Again, many thanks for your help.
Thank you so much for getting back to me. Attached is a pic of the interior of the Bauer Control 2 box but I'll also take and post a picture of the interior of the Securus box as well. I've also made a wiring diagram so will post that shortly as well. If this works I guess I'll have to make a...
I know this is an old thread but I just posted a new thread because I'm having problems getting filter cartridges to work with my older Securus-equipped Bauer Capitano. I'm hoping someone can direct me to how I can bridge or prevent the Securus system from not allowing my compressor to start up.
I recently purchased a good-running Bauer Capitano compressor to fill personal scuba tanks at my Georgian Bay cottage. It runs well but I cannot seem to find a filter cartridge to work with it. The Bauer D-81477 "060031-410" cartridge that came with it work fine but is almost expired, so I...
