Same thing happened to me in Oman while descending. The screw became loose and I sunk like a rock even though I kept adding air. Luckily my dive buddy noticed and tightened it.
I did 6 day trip around the first week of June. I choose Camel Dive Club mainly due to excellent reviews and also for their competitive stay & dive packages. I booked through PADI travel.
Getting there: I am currently based in Saudi so getting there was a short hop. You don’t need a visa if...
Just did a dive trip to Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt. I have to say I was quite impressed with the diving. I dove with Camel Divers and the daily trips, boat, food was quite good. Also very affordable. Will write trip report soon.
Congrats! and welcome.
Cozumel hands down. I did my first real scuba trip there and had a blast. Although I did get a personal dive guide who was super helpful in improving my buoyancy skills and showing me the different marine life. Great people and awesome food was a plus (Blue Angel).
Really enjoyed Cozumel and Bonaire last two dive trips. Those are great options, but trying somewhere new.
Saudi does have a few options, but the dive ops are not that great. Egypt is another option for sure.
Hi all,

Appreciate all your feedback.

I’m headed to Bonaire for the first time in August (1st week) and wondering what the water conditions & water temps are like? Also, btw my first time shore diving as well.
Appreciate the feedback.

Rollback entry: Never done this...
I lived next to the Red Sea for 2 years and never thought about diving. Was happy and satisfied with snorkeling (excellent snorkeling btw). Later moved near the Arabian Gulf and one of my colleagues was a Scuba instructor. He kept encouraging me to try it and after a intro dive I was hooked. The...
By the way, I am thinking of not buying a BC at the moment. Come to think of it, I don't plan on traveling with it anyways. I just wanted it for local diving here, but maybe I can continue renting or buy a used one. Also, is there any reason not to get full foot fins Vs. strapped? I am trying to...
