I’ve used the ots for years, it’s a solid mask and seems to be lower profile then some of the others. They have optional accessory rails for cameras or lights and the coms are easy to install and remove. I’ve used it on an ice dives and it performed well below freezing. I have no experience with...
The defenders were good vehicles. I think they copied the willys jeep design? But they had the Lucas electrical systems which caused the bulk of problems with most British cars. Then Land Rover was owned by bmw for a while, then Ford. And now I think it’s an Indian automaker trying to build a...
I can believe it. That’s how mine is here. I know a guy that resigned himself to putting his truck up on a lift and coating the undercarriage with oil in the winter.

The tundras are probably a good truck it seems like the big 3 own the full size market here in the us. Its also built in the us, the midsize Toyota trucks are built in Japan. If that makes a difference?
4 cyl manual is a great configuration. I’m not sure how hard it is to get registration on these in Illinois? I see a handful of humvees that are tagged and driven that didn’t have titles in the first place.

I’d go with the Tacoma, the rangers were econo trucks years ago now they’re 3/4 of a f150. I’m not sure how reliable it will be over time and mileage. If it were me I would go with the Tacoma base level trim, I’ll never buy another 4x4 from either manufacturer.
