We have a Carnival Cruise booked to Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao this summer. We would love to dive all 3 islands. Carnival only offers diving @ Aruba. Any suggestions on dive shops that will work with divers off a cruise ship at those locations?? Thank you!!

Does going with a longer hose help or hinder if I'm having problems with my regulator wanting to pop out of my mouth?

I do have that mouthpiece already. I think my hose to short as to most of the problem, but a new flexible braided hose would be pricey.

I have learned that all the extra stuff on the harness is not necessary for me at all. The whole problem I guess is I have absolutely no experience with them and felt like I needed some help.. I did get it for 20 percent off retail, so that helped some, I do agree with you that it's overpriced.

I'm back from Maldives and here's what ended up happening. My transmitter did completely fail me on a dive and I'm so glad I put that redundant dial on! I used it until I could get another transmitter.

So while in Grand Cayman with a bunch of British divers, I found out that RK3 is huge there, why is that, are they that much better than my Seawing Supernova's? Thoughts from anyone?? Thanks!

Can I ask those who dive nitrox if they set their computers to 1.6 or 1.4 and if it's just a normal dive the air mixture to 32 or go higher?

I should have shared more details but wanted to spare everyone. Yes, it was a battery failure but also a transmitter failure since the transmitter o-ring,(I'm assuming) gave out and the transmitter battery compartment flooded. :(
