Maybe I read your message in a different way than intended. But the material of the tank doesn't change the buoyancy shift between the beginning and the end of the dive.

Over 1500 logged hours on my D4i bought in 2016. Hasn't been a day off my wrist. Using it as main computer for teaching recreational, as a backup gauge for tec dives to 90meter+ / 300feet+ dives. I love it, never had any issues.

They qualify you for the same as SDI Computer Nitrox Diver, so when it comes to that there's not really a reason to do the PADI or TDI one.
The TDI elearning is much more detailed. More focus on calculations and background information.
