Cool. So I guess a 5mm would be a good one to get. I will slowly be buying equipment and was wondering what type of suit I should be looking at. Probably wont be doing any tropical locations for awhile, so a 5mm would probably work for most "local" places like LP, Mohave, and maybe So Cal?

Thats not bad. I think the water temp went down to around 60 during our OW dives, and that started around 30 ft. What thickness was the suit you use? It would be nice to get a few dives in over this winter. Would also give me another reason to get out of the snow up here!

How cold does the water get in the winter? and what suit do you use? The water at Mohave was pretty murky for our OW dives, no more than about 10-15 ft. a couple times we had to move because of all the stuff being kicked up. Clearer water and less boats would certainly be better.

How late in the year does anyone dive Lake Pleasant? Im newly OW certified too (just finished a couple weekends ago, at Lake Mohave) and would like to be able to get a few days in before its gets to cold, and LP is the closest. (I live in Flagstaff)
