Have you considered that maybe you just need a new remote? One of mine broke so. I contacted them, sent some photos of my model and was able to get a new remote. Problem solved.
I did experience a similar back and forth with Kraken customer service concerning my phone housing that stopped...
Fins and wing or bcd are the easiest for color choice. I like blue so most of my colored items involve blue. Blue camo wing and blue drysuit for example. For fins, I use orange eddys or white jets which pop really well in bad visibility. You can customize basically any and all webbing or...
I love mine. I didn’t use it this summer in the water but probably still have 20 dives with it. One of the reasons I purchased it instead of something with a canister battery (Santi etc) was so I could use it on land as well. I’ve worn it a decent amount under my jacket when the weather is...
I have no current information, but inventory was similar last Spring-Fall 2021 (none anywhere). I was actively looking, but did not similarly place a deposit. They showed up at several area dive shops early to mid December 2021 and were in stock online around the same time. I purchased mine...
For what it's worth, the G-Loft Hestra liners are great as well. I wear these in the winter and my thinner wool gloves in the summer. Hestra also has the liners in wool pile/terry, but I don't like them as much.

I’ve only ventured up twice…most recently to Barkley Sound on the West side. My impression is it has a robust dive scene with a ton of locations, amazing life and significantly better visibility than Puget Sound/Hood Canal. I’ve always heard it’s the best cold water diving location in the...
Obviously a drysuit, a good undergarment and even a heated vest will get you warm...but that is out of your price range.
High quality wetsuits are significantly warmer than your typical rental wetsuit, but these can run fairly expensive as well. You could keep an eye out for a lightly used one...
You can also get scopolamine equivalent pills through a compounding pharmacy, or purchase on ebay Kwells. They do make a "kids" version that is simply a half dose. At least in my area (Seattle, Washington), the compounding pharmacy is more expensive than purchasing Kwells via ebay.
Patches...
Crevice, blue hole, and two others I don’t recall. 1 just outside harbor along manmade jetty and 1 inside. They were okay…nothing spectacular or special, but I found a lot of good little critters.
Thanks for reviewing it. I’ve been trying to find out more information on these for awhile. It appears there is just the drysuit sealing zipper and no outer protective zipper…is that right? This zipper also seems to push out away from the body.
I’m curious to see how these holdup. When you...
FWIW. I have a DGX Push (old version) and a Big Blue 1300NPT. The DGX was $65 or something like that and the Big Blue $200. They seem to be identical lights other than the variable power on the Big Blue (which I do not use).
I would not purchase another Big Blue due to the cost difference...
