Might try the Blue Lagoon in Huntsville, Texas. We just dove here yesterday and today. Lagoon 1 has around 20 to 25 feet visibility and lagoon 2 around 6 to 10 feet.

I have achieved master diver certification along with Nitrox and AOW certs. Before I bought a FFM, I have been using an Aqualung core. I bought my FFM and installed a quick disconnect so I can transfer between my FFM and my core regulator. I keep a spare set of goggles in my BCD and practice...
Is a FFM course required? I have a space extender and have no issues using it or removing it and replacing with a spare mask and using my backup air source and vice versa.

My wife and I were diving the USS Kittywake about 2 years ago in the Grand Cayman Islands. We had been through the wreck and were “topside” observing some fish and some small turtles when the DM slid between us and took my wife’s secondary regulator. We completed the dive normally with 3 minute...
I have had great success using the SAFT battery. The exact battery called out in the manual can be bought through batteries plus. A little pricey but they last.
Good luck

Look here’s the issue. Europe does things differently than we do in the North America region.
That said go to the BVI,s, Aruba, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Honduras etc. you may find a long hose rental rig, but they are not the norm. I have not rented gear in Europe so can’t speak to their rental...
No just messing with you. Just walk into a rental dive shop and take a picture of their long hose setup, then ask them what they rent the most of. Short hose setup like I showed you or a long hose setup. I’ll wait
Glenn
Ok you do you.
I was taught the primary donate as well and have disagreed with it from day one. Maybe it’s my military training, maybe not. However, primary to me means it’s my usual piece that I use kind of like a parachute. I have my main and I have a reserve. In diving the reserve is a...
Did not say they had to. I told you earlier that your setup is ok. What I have been trying to get across is the “yellow” hose is not yellow out of convenience. It is yellow so a out of air non panicked diver knows where it is. Also as I stated earlier I believe this should be a standardized...
Yellow is secondary and that is what I brief. If you want air come and get it. It will be the yellow hose on my right hand side. My primary is a full face mask. Your not getting it from there.

Dude it doesn’t matter. Your going way too deep on this and your setup is ok. Don’t know if you bought yours new or used, have modified it whatever. I say again, when you buy a standard open water, RECREATIONAL, setup here in the USA, from any reputable dive shop. Unless you specify differently...
When you purchase a standard setup say from Aqualung for example. The primary black hose will be shorter than the secondary yellow hose. I don’t understand why you want to keep talking semantics. If your buying a setup that is custom i.e. tech diving then ok your right.
A recreational open...
Well that’s your opinion. However when you purchase a new setup unless you specifically order it different your secondary (yellow) hose will be longer.
