I often get great FF award travel on AA to Cozumel. I book 328 days in advance (330 days is the max and flight prices usually drop a few days after they open dates). Last year we snagged one way for 12k from Wichita the week after Thanksgiving. Flexibility and advanced planning is key.

Correct, the diver supplies the oring with DIN since it is attached to the regulator. Advantage #1 The max working pressure of DIN is 300bars / 4,350psi, for yoke it is 240bars / 3,400psi. Advantage # 2 It is also bit more compact.

You loose any advantage to having a DIN regulator by that setup. 1. You still use the Dive ops Oring on the Tank. 2. You add an additional point of failure (the adapter to tank to DIN).
