It ended up that 16 worked really well! I was thinking of doing 14 but then figured that a brand new 5 mil suit might require a little more.

IMHO, I would for sure go with a guide like Shaka Doug. I just got back a week ago and Doug was an unbelievable guide. He know every inch of each site like the back of his hand.
