Not sure about S.K., but there are a few spots south in Sarasota. Also a little further south is Venice and you can go fossil & Meg tooth diving there.

If you're interested in fossil & Meg tooth diving, Venice area is the place to go. Aristakat & Aquanutz are two good dive ops there. There are others, but I haven't dove with anyone else there. I think Capt. Jamie (Aristakat) will also do other types of dive trips upon request. my .02 worth :)

I have swam out as far a 1.25 miles...hit 31' depth. normally swim out about 1/2 to 3/4 mile.

I've used Aristakat Charters (Capt. Jamie) & Aquanutz (Capt. Mike). Both good dive ops. There are a few others as well. Both these guys are 6-pack ops.

not sure about CC, but you could drive north to Venice and do Meg Tooth & fossil diving there. check the Venice forum on this board if interested.
