I have the Litehawk travel BC that back inflate and I noticed that until I got my weight in the shoulder pouch dialed in it had a tendency to do the face forward bit more frequently on the surface. Now that I have an idea of how much weight I need in my shoulders to get my trim dialed in it is...
Thanks, I was thinking about going this way, but just wasnt sure how useful the flat one would be. I will probably go this way.
The other question I forgot to mention was if the "Allowance for extra thick undersuits" is worth getting. I tend to run warm and currently have a set of the scubapro...
I am getting ready to buy my first drysuit and I have decided on the Nova. After doing some research I have decided on the following config. I came across this very useful thread and decided I would ask for some feedback before pulling the trigger.
Nova - All Red
Plastic Zip with Black Zip...
I picked up this computer and dual transmitters last year when I started down the side mount / technical diving path. However life circumstances have changed and I just dont have the time I need to get current and stay current on more technical diving so I am paring back my kit a bit and swaping...

I picked up a pair of Scubapro MK25 evo / s620 Ti regulators last year when I started down the side mount / technical diving path. However life circumstances have changed and I just dont have the time I need to get current and stay current on more technical diving so I am paring back my kit a...
Yes. What I want to make sure of is that the remaining bottom time won't be using the reserve pony bottle as usable air. I don't plan on using it, but having it air integrated will be good to know that it's not leaking or something else is wrong by seeing the pressure.
I have been looking through the manual a bit and haven't quite figured out what I am looking for here. I have the G2 and i typically either dive single tank or sidemount. However coming up i have a couple of dives where I will be doing a single tank dive with a pony as a bailout. I was wondering...

I was figuring to use them as a 2 tank dive. My understanding, and correct me if i am wrong, the advantages of diving both tanks its that its easier to keep in trim with the 2 tanks. Also say you are planning on turning the dive at 1000 psi and being back at 500 psi this means you can turn at...
I figured rather than starting a new thread I would add to this one as it seems like a good place for someone getting started.
I am just looking to get started with sidemount. Largely due to trying to be a bit easier on my knees and back. Last winter in particular I did a cold dive in rougher...
That's my issue, there doesn't seem to be a poor choice in the list, makes it quite difficult to finally just pull the trigger on one.
I am also thinking about doing sidemount soon as well (knees aren't what they used to be) and the mk25 seems like it would be well suited for this.
I would like to take an Ice class in the future, but not likely a regular thing. High 30's low 40's is the low end that I will likely see with any regularity.
I am looking at these combos as a possible upgrade. They all seem to be great regs from the reviews I have read and was wondering if you had to pick a pair of these which you would get?
I like the swivel of the MK25 EVO, but living in New England occasional cold water performance is a concern...
I have a Sherwood Wisdom 2 with the Quick Release hose. I was using this as a pressure gauge for my pony bottle and have decided its overkill. Overall good shape, minor scratches on the screen protector that arent noticeable underwater.
Looking to get $300 for it...
I have a few extra regulators I mostly have kept around as backups / spares. I have decided its time to clean the closet and get rid of the ones I am not using.
1) Sherwood Oasis First and Second stage ($225).
I know there are a few variations of this reg. This was purchased in 2016. The spring...
