Molokai has some amazing diving, but for a quick easy 1 dive, Mala Wharf.

If you prefer easy diving, just do some dives on Oahu, keep it simple right? If you dive there, give Kaimana Divers a call, they're who I recommend when I have customers headed to Oahu.

My apologies, I should of commented on the shore diving as well. You can dive tunnels with or without a guide. The parking is limited and the ideal parking spot is not obvious. You'll also want to know where to enter and exit the water due to the reef structure. Also, I wouldn't dive this...

If possible to rent a car for the day to get away from the dive crowds, north of Kona is worth the drive. Liquid Cosmos Divers or Blue Wilderness are worth checking out.

Aloha Jean, Diving in January is actually more fun in my opinion because you'll be in Humpback whale season. The water can be mid 70's by January. The water around Kauai always has the possibility of being "exciting"(aka rough), but not unsafe(shops will cancel if so, but not overly common)...

Awesome! You'll love Scott. Anything tour related here is booking up quick, so if there's something you want to do, I highly suggest getting it reserved. Not just scuba diving, but, helicopters, atv's, mountain tubing, etc.
