It’s a good thing I wear the hood then. But it evens out since I don’t use sunscreen and ride a bike to the store.😆

The hyperstretch fabric is good for your hair because you can put conditioner on before the dive. ;)

I thought the OP made an important observation and I can see both sides. It’s important that dive operators don’t take such great care of people that they lull them into a false sense of security. IMO (DM who has led dives in Hawaii) the safety brief should include some language about the...

No I use a Suunto but always have the 120 running in my mind I believe it’s a good idea to have an idea where you are without a computer even when using it. To be clear, I have been diving since before computers because I was taught by my dad who was an old school Florida cave diver Eight...

Wet hair and slather with conditioner, then wear the Henderson hyper-stretch hooded vest. This keeps the salt water out of your hair. When you get out of the water, you can take it off and leave the conditioner in until you shower.

“No masks that cover your nose” rules are driving me bonkers!!!

I can do many things more than once and I didn’t learn how by not getting water in my nose 😆 That rule is the most pathetic thing I’ve ever heard of: “no breath holding .”

Such a stark difference in Europe because the kids are really encouraged to take risks. The playgrounds for five year olds have them climbing walls and swinging from ropes. This mask thing strikes me as being way too neurotic and anxious.
