Hi,
I'm Singaporean and regularly dive at Pulau Hantu, one of the few dive sites in Singapore.
The viz in Singapore waters is a hit or miss. On good days you could get about 3m-5m and on bad days as low as 0.5m.
The marine life there is reasonable and diverse but it all depends on patience...
I went with scuba.is back in 2016 and it was a good experience diving with them. It was my first time diving drysuit and they went through the basics before the dive. As for car rentals, I went with Ace Car Rental and it worked out well for me but YMMV.
I usually go with Weird Divers (a local dive group) or Scubapeople (a local dive company) for dives at Pulau Hantu, which is an island within Singapore waters. I am also waiting for the lockdown to be lifted to start diving locally in Singapore again.
I've been to both and am choosing to head back to Krabi with the family again. Krabi is slightly more relaxing and family oriented though can be slightly boring as it's a rather small town imo.
The dive sites are shared with Phuket so you'll also see Phuket dive boats when you are at the dive...
Wanted to seek some advice. I already have an Oceanic OCI but am looking to pick up either the Perdix AI or the Teric as my primary computer and the Oceanic will be a backup. Which would most of you recommend.
I've been diving with my Hydros Pro for a number of trips with wetsuit and drysuit. I use it without a crotch strap and it stays snug with little movement. Am very happy with this purchase as it is also easy to pack and dries almost instantly.
Interesting update:

The dump valves all serve the same purpose so not much difference for what I understand. As for lift size, the men's S size BCD had a smaller lift size than the other sizes.
I'm using one too and it's really comfortable. As tridacna has stated, it is really stable in the water and the bcd grips you very well. Surface buoyancy was also really good and I found myself upright most times although I was using the weight pockets instead of the harness system. Drys really...
