There also seems to be a new PADI Dive Bomb speciality quite common in Asia. The principle is to jump from a boat, bomb down to the bottom with no buoyancy, gather in a group and swim in a big disorganised lump, kicking each other in the face and pushing other dive groups out of the way while...
Is there an issue with the subsurface website and cloud storage? I've been unable to reach it for a couple of days, trying different networks and browsers. Anyone else have the same issue?
Nice read, thanks. I always thought you had to go to the Gilis for good diving around Lombok, but from what I can read in your post the mainland can be just as good.
Where did you find the most beautiful coral gardens?
Hi,
I just picked up a cheap set of Titan LX 1st and 2nd stages with the Octopus as a backup set. I believe it is the 2nd generation of Titan.
Out of curiosity, I wonder if there is a way to identify the age of the set using the serial numbers? It would be fun to know if they were made during...
I almost exclusively access forums through my mobile or tablet, 90% through tapatalk. That this forum isn't on tapatalk means I don't visit as much as I'd like to as the mobile interface is clunky and difficult to navigate. With tapatalk you get all features you need in easy tabs - new posts...

Scubapro states...
I was looking at the Cressi F1 mask and noticed it also comes in a frameless version. Has anyone tried both and have a preference?
Is there any general performance difference with frameless, e.g. less stability, increased risk of mask squeeze, or sensitivity to wear and tear?
This is a true deal-breaker for me.
I'm looking for a simple computer at the moment and the Cosmiq+ fits most of my requirements. However, I will never again (did it once before with Sharkpoint) use a solution where your dive logs are locked into an app or cloud without any means of exporting...
Cheers. I can't make a head or tale of the file contents, it's beyond my knowledge. I've attached the file for your kind consideration if you can figure it out.
Many thanks!

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately the database was more advanced than that, I had a look and it's not even ASCI based. See the screenshot from the hex editor.
Hi,
Many years ago I used to log my dive using the Sharkpoint 1.5 software. For various reasons (long delays, broken promises from the developer for upgrade pricing, etc) I never upgraded to version 2 when it was released in 2006 or whenever, which would have added csv export possibilities.
I...
