I have to say for me I think the metric is easier, but I'll make sure my computer/s can do both metric and imperial. Still on the fence as far as pressure gauges. D

Yes, I can see where if you are each using a different method, the misunderstanding that could occur. I have decided I'll get one that calculates both metric and imperial. D

From looking at the different dive computers, at least the ones I'm reading about calculate in both. My big issue is I am not too good with math, but doing calculations in metric I feel a lot less dumb. lol D

Steve, I just got your book today, "Staying Alive" and just started on chapter one, "Attitude" I'm glad you wrote this as I know I will learn more and we can never know enough when it comes to safe diving. D

I'm currently reading "Last Dive" and "Fatal Depth" the latter by Joe Haberstroh. "Shadow Divers" is on order, and I've read "Diver Down" and imo, ALL divers could benefit from reading the latter. :D D

I just finished reading this and it was such a good read. I'm currently reading "Last Dive" by Bernie Chowdhury, which is so far very good, and I'm reading "Fatal Depth" and I have to say so far I prefer "Deep Descent". D

I wonder what species? A Bull Shark, possibly? I just found this. Apparently, a young boy was also bit by a shark. Boy, 11, bitten by shark in waters off Heron Island in Central Queensland - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)

I hope he will be okay. Are they sure it's a Hammerhead? It's rare for a HH to attack.
