That was all around Anacapa. The surge was minimal in the morning but the shallower we go the stronger it was. The last dive with the sea lions was really shallow, 15-25 fsw. The kelp can get you lost sometimes if the viz is low, just make sure you pay attention to your surroundings.

I have the same issue about every 20 min. I find that if I drink tons of water before I dive then that tends to help, probably because most people I know just don't drink enough water to stay extremely hydrated.

I have recently done some research on shops and tank sizes. I know that Lahaina Divers has AL100 and Extended Horizons has "Steel 100" but not sure if it is an HP or LP tank, you can always call them and ask. Also try B&B scuba.
