I'm freaking out--I have so much to do to get ready!!! We have been so busy we haven't had time to start packing so today and tomorrow....all the things. I'm going to need a big hairy nap when I get there!

checked the forecast for coz...there is 80% chance of thunderstorms almost every day. i'm hoping this is normal??? like typical tropical thunderstorms because it's hot and humid? Just curious. someone provide some comfort, please...getting nervous!

Does anyone know if the whale shark excursion guys take payment in pesos? I heard that they are supposed to, as we are uncomfortable walking around with that amount of cash in USD (for four people). We would prefer to get the cash in pesos once we get there.

We just returned from a week of diving at Cobalt Coast Grand Cayman. This is the trip that we won in the raffle on the ScubaBoard Invasion Roatan. I cannot say enough good things about the resort and its staff. We had a fantastic time. Besides just the wonderful time of relaxation and family...

We booked the trip that Molly won from Reef Fantaseas, and we leave Dec 30 and return Jan 6! Almost there, and super excited! I'll give a report when we get back.

Dragging our bags for long distances is a special hobby of ours, and there are four of us. :tired: I'll have to think hard about this one...Not sure I'm feeling the love. It is vacation, after all, but if it means more money to spend on the next dive trip...:wink:

I would definitely encourage you to do it. My daughter was 10 (she is now 12 and will be 13) when we first got her certified. She and my husband are always buddies, we drill her a lot about emergency situations, talk about situational awareness in every day life and apply it to diving, ask her...
