My company needed some corporate headshots done for our website and asked me to lend a hand. So, I brought my gear in and did about 15 head shots in about an hour. It sure was a nice change of pace from my usual Linux Admin job! I'm pretty happy with how they came out.
Here are a few...
Find some water and/or clouds and take some pictures. :) That lifeguard tower was with a 10mm lens and it was taken from the lowest setting on my tripod - I was literally lying on the beach so I could see through the viewfinder.
Here's a good group for ideas:

A couple shots from the last couple weekends:
Thatcher Island from Loblolly Cove (with my favorite filter)
The contrasting architectures of The Hancock Building and the Copley Plaza with the full moon and an American flag:
I took a bunch more at Loblolly, but haven't had a chance...
Really compelling work, Jon.
Another from my shoot at Nickerson Beach in MA. This one is of a tower...thing. No idea what it is or was, but it's out on a little peninsula that is inaccessible at high tide. I made sure to check my tide chart before heading out. Didn't want to turn around...
Went out to Quincy last night and grabbed the sunset facing Boston. There aren't a lot of road-accessible places to do that around here, being an east coast city. This was with the ND110 for 2'20". Unfortunately, I didn't have any clouds to work with. The cloud gods are not with me my last...
I see Jon busted out his ND filter. Mine just came in. We've had a rough weather patch here, but I got out and shot this of a flooded pond near my home.
It ended up as photo of the day on Bostonist and Planet Earth Photo of the Day.
Seems *really* expensive. I just don't need that level of granularity in an ND filter. I'm sure it's very high quality, like all of Singh-Ray's products.
Nice shot, too!
Not related to the ND110, but here are a few recent shots...all family
