    Vintage double hose regs

sorry I've been awol from SB for a while with the new changes... I've used the service tech from divers point to tune my reg and replace parts salvaged from titan/conshelf regs. While he did a good overall job with my reg, he adjusted my IP a bit too high that my octopus would free flow (so I...

    Vintage double hose regs

He's talking about this bad boy: I use a regular AL backplate and use the crotch strap to keep it down low. And pardon me for thinking larry spoke about a scene in PG - I tune out 90% of the crap that comes out of his mouth. Looks like you need to start a scene, Ed. :)

Where in Phillipines to see LOTS of fish

This list of resorts will help you out: ScubaBoard - Anilao +1 for Joy and Hernel. I was also an aquaventure regular before, but there are many resorts in Anilao to choose from to suit what you are looking for.

    Vintage double hose regs

Sweet collection. I always thought the one on the very left was a mistral (due to the yellow ID plate) and not an AM. Congrats on the lighthead though! :)

    Getting started in vintage diving

Yeah, I was worried at first but I've been able to use my RAM in a couple of places in the PI without any problems - Anilao (Aquaventure, Planet Dive, and Dive n Trek), Davao, Gen San, Bohol, Leyte. I've also used it with just a BP/harness without any trouble. Most divers who've approached me...

    Vintage double hose regs

sweet find. IIRC one of Nautilus' DH is a mistral. +1 on buying the banjo. Make sure to inform the bangkeros how to properly put the rig together when exchanging tanks or the o-ring might accidentally fall out. Keep me updated on what you find out regarding the scene.

    Vintage double hose regs

    1. Not for double hose. There's only 2 people that I've had good conversations about double hoses: the owner of Nautilus (you'll see he has 3 double hoses displayed in his shop) and Ellen from diver's point. Ellen is more interested in single hose regs but her technician was able to service...

OW Certification in Puerto Galera - BUDGET but safe

I believe kwhkg was referring in general to posters who post threads to ask about budget operations but want quality. The whole "you pay for what you get for" thing. We get many posters like that. Also check this out...

Manila Airport to Batangas Pier via public bus

I personally like Victory Liner buses better but the JAM buses are comfortable enough to get you from Manila to Batangas. I've never seen or taken a souped up JAM bus like the VL deluxe buses to Baguio.

what shark-eating restaurants to avoid in the Philippines?

Centrals, don't let race blind you of the facts. Bottom line: there is a huge demand for shark fins in upscale chinese markets. You can't deny that. Maybe it's not the only market, but it definitely makes up most of the pie. Here's a question for you: if you were to lead a campaign...
