also, I guess its more like 25 miles.... 40 is pretty far. is the general rule of thumb 1 mile per 2 ft.?

Hey i was wondering if anyone has any good places to dive near tampa, FL. I dont have a boat that will go out 40 miles, so i was wondering if there are any shore dive that I could get a kayak for... any suggestions would be great.

hey guys hows it goin, I am a farely new diver (last year) in the tampa area. Havent really done as much diving as I should be. I have all the necessary equiptment and everything. I would jst like some good places in this area. Hope that these boards will be a lot of help. JJ
