It's been about 8 years since I last dove. I'm looking into getting back into diving. Since I live in the tri-valley area in N. Cali. does anyone recommend a seasoned instructor? If I haven't dove in 8 years, do I need to take the course all over again or take partial courses? I was PADI OW...
ahh. sorry about that, I didn't see this. I was so busy and hadn't checked back on here. I hope you were able to get a dive in? As I've found out, the Island is pretty small.

:dontknow: Hi ladies,
I'm a new scuba-ling and not yet a diva at diving (I have my OWD). I've had some bad timing when planning my vacations and poof "aunt flow" visits (my period). Well now that I'm excited to try out some shore diving in Maui for vaca.I have this thought in my head- what if...
I've had a little trouble trying to get down with my drysuit and my bcd. It felt like I couldn't get all the air out of my drysuit when I would attempt to go down and I didn't seem to stay down. I'm glad to hear break water is good to practice this as I will keep doing. Thanks for sharing your...
Greetings:admingreet:
I plan on doing a 10 day vaca in Grand Turk, staying at the Bohio Dive Resort. Questions that you can give me feed back on:
How is the insect population there? In other words are there tons of mosquitoes? Just a tad bit worried about this news piece Mosquito-borne virus...
My husband and I are going there in May. How was your night dive? I have a few dives under my belt so I'm considered a "rookie" and wanted to know the conditions for night diving out there? Did you do a boat night dive or a shore night dive?
Thanks, Mali
DiveMaven, suggestions for shore dives in West Maui? I'll be in W.Maui first week of March. I'm considered a rooky and I'm looking for easy shore dives or recommended guide for shore dives on west side. Thanks in advance. Chef Mali.:D
I'll be out there 3/3-3/10 on the west side- Kapalua. I too am a bit of a rooky. Suggestions on meetups on the West side of Maui for Shore Dives or recommended easy access shore dives on West side?

Here is the site off of airbnb. https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/1351400

I'm a new diver & I didn't pass my AOD partially because of low visibility in Monterey. It did stress me out. However, your blog has some good pointers that I will attempt to practice to ready myself for my tests again out there. Thanks for sharing.
I'm new to this site and I'm hoping to get some real online feed on products, how-to's, and suggestions from those who are not sales folks. I receive my OWD & Nitrox Cert about 8 months ago. I've done some nice dives in FL but I am looking forward to being a local in the cold waters- Monterey...
