12 boys lost in flooded Thai cave

Kudos to the rescuers and supporters. Saw this on the news this morning. Can someone provide a context or explanation of what appears to be an inner tube on the back of the diver? I'm clueless.

    First cold water dives

Hi Marie13, I was planning a Mermet dive this weekend too if my buddy could have gone along. Just saw your posts after I made other commitments. Maybe next time we could plan ahead for more cold water diving. I'm from Northern Illinois too.

    US Service Center

Kudos to Curt McNamee, US Service Center of Shearwater Research. He got my Petrel 2 back in service in no time, despite the timing (DEMA and Thanksgiving Holiday). Real stand up guys. Love the case, thanks a bunch.

    Recommendations for prescription mask vendors

I went the cheaper route, online found sale lenses with my Rx, matched them to the mask also on sale. Got two different masks for around $70-80 each. One mask I put lenses on myself(youtube is awesome!!), the other arrived assembled. Been using them for two years, no leaks.

How bad is it if an LDS calls you an “internet diver”?

How bad is it if an LDS calls you an “internet diver”?

:shocked2: Have not heard this before let alone one directed toward me, but I feel insulted, angry about this comment, especially after offering him business instead of going online. What does this mean? Is there any diver out there that has not used the internet? Ironically, the LDS/owner is on...

Recently bought my own the Xtek Pure but I have not gotten it wet yet. I am an end user and not associated with any manufacturer or the dive industry. As with any BP/W set up you can buy each component or get a complete unit. My initial observation are as follows: Harness system - SS plate –...
