This is the boat we saw coming around the cruise ships. The captain of the Aldora III was towing the capsized boat to shore. The passengers had already been pulled out but the crew of the capsized boat were hanging onto it. It was very rough in that area due to the wind direction.

I have used a Vyper Novo as my primary and a Geo 2.0 as a back up for atleast the last 200 dives. I know this isnt ideal but it's what I have and I use the Vyper for AI. Sure the Geo gives me more bottom time but the Vyper does not hold me back. I have used it on a LOB with 25 dives in 5 days...

From My experience the boats pick up at VA around 7:40 and you start your dive between 8:30 and 8:45. I much prefer a boat ride than cabbing it to the marina.

If you want to get a quick five in and you are in PDC, it's an OK spot. All the dives are pretty close to town. The school of tarpon in my profile pic was taken there.

I was on a boat in Cozumel and lady stated she was going to dive until she was 90. I found out later she was 89. She only did the first dive of two and took a cab back to town.

Dive shops will just give a referral to a tour group that offers them. Even though there are quite a few boats going out but they are highly regulated. I went once and it was immpressive. There were hundreds of sharks out there feeding. You can't get within 10', no selfie sticks, 2 snorkels...

Did you elect expedited service?. I sent mine in a couple weeks ago, nonexpedited. I have not heard anything. I don't need it until April though. From what I have been reading on the web many are getting renewels back in about 3 weeks without being expedited.
