Yup. Bandon is a super nice guy. Danielle is a sweetie. When I was there she was trying to figure out how to get a new passport for she had lost hers. She was getting a lot of kidding by the rest of the crew.:D
I don't know if anyone mentioned Ibuprofen? But I an old guy and with the concentrated diving I used some muscles that haven't used for awhile. You might want some Ben Gay also. Most liveabroads have geezer gas (nitrox) nowadays:D
The first week of January I spent on the Juliet diving around the Turks & Caicos Islands. It was a super good time and I got a lot of diving and relaxation in.
Many thanks to Capt. Tim and crew. Hope Tim and Cathy made it home with out problems.
Being that you have a lot of time to spend on Bonaire, one day should be spent in the wildlife perserve on the northern end of the island. Pack a picnic lunch and your dive gear. We had a pretty relaxing day up there even though I forgot the name of the place.:D
Don't miss the shark dive. That was awesome. As Roatanman said. Things are pretty regimentated. There are a lot of people in a small space so don't expect to be catered to.
Very true. My wife is a non diver. But the way Bonaire is set up you only have a few dives that on a boat. Then the rest are shore dives along the entire cost. Hence they give you a rental truck.
Fortunately I found a writer for a German scuba magizine who was far more experienced than...
We stayed with Buddy Dive too. It was really nice. Staying on Bonaire is not cheap compared to other places I've stayed. Of course it is a dessert island so everything has to be shipped in.
On Jan. 5th I am booked on the Juliet which is a 12 passenger live aboard. She sails out of Provo. That's all I can tell you.
I was hopeing to hear from some unbiased person about this trip but I haven't found one yet. So it should be an adventure.:D
