Hi All,
I'm planning to install a 70 Degree Swivel adapter to my Second Stage. In the old setup (wasn't installed by me) I noticed there's no o-ring between swivel and the second stage.

Now with new second stage, when I took out the hose, I...
Yeah, most likely either one of those. Although no performance degradation, I need to understand how this happened.
the color is brownish with little green. It's used with rental tank all the time (all trips involve flying). yeah, put a braided hose after the original SP hose gave up just...

Looks pretty bad to me. This reg was sent for inspection 6 months ago, and was given a green light to go without overhaul, only HP hose change required which I requested...
Hi Everyone,
Have some time visually inspecting my reg today. Found sign of corrosion on HP hose (I think)
Image uploaded here: Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet. It's the end of the hose which attached to first stage. Since this is a new hose (less than 6 months old), I've been...
Hahhaa. literally laughed at this. but.. out of curiosity, what scubatool(s) do you carry on a trip? aren't they heavy.. probably for a full set they are heavier than another set (?)
What do you mean exactly with "user adjustable"? Adding the adjustment knob to S360? $100 is a great deal.
Thanks everyone for the inputs... I see that backup set is pretty important for me who has seen how rental reg quality looks like in remote area. *i know some might not agree
As far as I remember mid-low end reg set cost less than half of cheapest 7 days LOB trip I can find (even lesser if you...
Good idea. Probably this is where I'm heading to. If I can't find good second, new piece won't make much difference for mid-low end second stages. I think it's S360? one level above R195 that available here....
Hello Everyone,
Thanks for taking time replying to this thread. It's interesting to see many ways to handle backup set(s) on the trip.
I started to get more and more involved in drive trips to remote areas where dive ops only have handful sets of rental gear with "as is" condition, also it's...
How's everybody doing?
I'm planning to have backup regs from now on any long dive trips (just for ease of mind), wondering what factors normally being considered for backup regs (if you have one)?
e.g.
1. What kind of regulator do you typically pick as backup regulator...
Hi All,
This is probably a stupid question... but let met ask it anyway.
Somehow I got a MK2evo First Stage (only), and I'm thinking of keeping it for backup.
Can I use my MK2evo with my existing S600+R095 should I need to use my backup one day. I know it doesn't match but ... well...
I have no doubt with their service. They replaced my rusted BC hose without asking. The only thing asked was my address where they can send the hose to. I'm living outside U.S.
I got one too from them. But seems it's a generic one. The one that many folks said prone to problem. I don't know how true is that. Anyone from here can comment on their quality?
Today is my 9th dive with HP hose (braided) DGE. Si far no leak. Avg depth 25-30.
I had this problem too. 3 months before my last dive everything was ok. But then it happened without any activities with it, they just sit in my closet.
Definitely you need new hose for this. Can't fix the crimping. Make sure get a good hose.
