I agree it won't be the highlight of your log book, but it's still something you should check out. There are dolphins and sea lions and some pretty cool Dives. If you are there just go for it.

I also did my nitrox class with SDI. My instructor didn't know the tables for nitrox it was horrible. It was the same place I took my Open Water class and they didn't talk about tables at all. I didnt go over them in my sdi class. It never even came up.

I agree. There are a ton of wrecks on Long Island and Jersey. You have to try diving here. Don't worry so much about the cold water. Just jump in and go for it.
