Thanks for posting this article. It is a good reinforcement of what I learned in my OWD course. I don't yet own a dive computer and am pretty adept with the eRDP and PADI tables, but when I do buy a computer I will heed the great advice :)

My wife, two sons, and I just finished our book work and closed water portion of the PADI Open Water certification. We are getting ready to head to Kona, HI to complete the open water dives. We are all very psyched and look forward to learning from other members as well as sharing our experiences.
