    Adapting o2 analyzer for o2eii

It's more for people who I give sensors to.

    Adapting o2 analyzer for o2eii

I think I could do that. I still think I need the specifications for the existing sensor, in case I want to switch it back.

    Adapting o2 analyzer for o2eii

Hi Everyone! I have some extra o2 sensors from my breather. I have a meg. The sensors use the Molex KK 2695 Series 100 connector. My buddy has a Analox O2EII o2 analyzer. The o2 sensor in the analyzer uses a different connector. My goal is to build a small adapter cable that can adapt from my...

steel versus stainless steel for adapters

The DGX version of the part (DGX Adapter: 1/4-Inch NPT Male = 9/16-Inch M | Dive Gear Express®) is priced the same as the steel Parker adapter. I would expect that if DGX was able to produce the part so much cheaper than Parker, that Parker would be forced to lower their price to complete

steel versus stainless steel for adapters

Not on the oxygen supply (though I've bough Tylok QC-6 for my BOV). The components will be used to attach to the QC-6 to regulator hoses.

steel versus stainless steel for adapters

I am buying some NTP adapters for my breather. I'm sourcing some of the adapters from a local Parker distributor. The adapter I'm looking at comes in a Steel and Stainless Steel variety. The difference between the two is over $100. Are the steel parts sufficient? Or do I need to stick with a...

    bellows hoses

Duty and imports is the hassle. I'm also trying to avoid a scuba-branded markup, if one exists. I haven't been able to find a dealer in Canada. Are duties from items shipped from a commonwealth country cheaper than duties from other countries?

    bellows hoses

My unit is a meg. I only measured one hose, so perhaps they're not symmetrical. Crushproof won't do a small order for me. Their minimum order is 100 pieces. And Mr. Young at KISS tells me that all his hoses are 1.25" ID.

Thanks tbone1004. I'll contact them and see if I can order from them at a reasonable rate.

    bellows hoses

More like Golem Gear, Inc. - CCR Hose - 22in. The hoses are rubber instead of plastic. A higher quality of construction compared to a BC inflator hose. I'll look him up, thanks

    bellows hoses

Hi Everyone, I need new loop hoses. 12 inches, plus 1/2 inch cuff on each end. 1.5 inch inner diameter. I was hoping to find a canadian seller so that I don't have to pay exorbitant shipping, taxes, or duties. I had been buying some parts directly from a Parker distributor, for instance. Is...

Looking for ISC BOV, ADV, T-Pieces

With regards to the DSV: definitely. From the little I've read, a BOV will save a few extra seconds when needing to bail out, so I think I'll always default to a BOV. I've been lurking on the Buy & Sell Rebreathers worldwide and Rebreathers for sale facebook market places. I haven't posed...

Looking for ISC BOV, ADV, T-Pieces

I am training on a Megalodon 2.7. For the training, I need a stock unit. The used unit I purchased came with BMCLs and a Golem Gear shrimp. I need to acquire an ISC BOV and an ISC ADV. (I have already acquired front mounted counter lungs.) I expect that some people have changed their lungs and...

    What cable does fischer use?

Wonderful resources, thanks! I poked around the dm9876's link, and I found bluerobotics.com, and it looks like they sell cutoffs from their control tethers which might work for me: Fathom Slim ROV Tether (Random Lengths). I might also call Shearwater. They had great customer service when I...

    What cable does fischer use?

That looks like it will work for my purposes. If I wanted to get the same from a North American distributor, what would I order? Do we know anything about the cable specifications?

    What cable does fischer use?

Hi Everybody! I'm trying to make a pressure pot to test o2 sensors, very much like http://wrecklessdiver.com/building-50-o2-cell-checker/. I don't have a spare fischer cable to donate to the project. And buying a cable from a rebreather manufacturer is prohibitively expensive. I don't need...

St. Lawrence Water Temperature - alxn6 no longer reports water temerature

I like that resource, @Pinecube! Thanks! Looks like alxn6 is starting to log water temperature data again. The maintenance cycle came earlier than I expected. I was thinking that the maintenance wouldn't occur buoys started going into the water. Thanks @Bob DBF

@macado, who did you charter with? I was under the impression that the charter operators weren't in the water yet.

St. Lawrence Water Temperature - alxn6 no longer reports water temerature

I dive the Canadian side of the St. Lawrence, but I find that the water temperature reported by alxn6 is a good approximation for what I can expect. It appears that it hasn't emitted any water temperature information since January 2019. Does anyone know if it will ever report water temperature...

    Benches

A table sounds like a great idea. There isn't enough space in the parking lot to install a large table, but there is enough space near the water's entrance. I'm thinking I'll build a bench in the parking lot and a table near the water. One of my favorite dive sites has wooden picknick tables...
