Regulator in carry on baggage, anyone had any issues at security?

Never any issue aside from them opening the case to take a look.

    Looking Sidemount Dives Eastern Ontario

Reach out to Mike or Jen at Undirworld Diving | Brockville Ontario Really great guy and always happy to talk your ear off. He's been a side mount convert for years and I've learned quite a bit from him. Same for Jen. I'll also be down that way for most of June and plan to do some diving. I used...

    Coulonge River update

Ok so I took the plunge and did a little tour of the river this weekend. I was really surprised and pleased with the conditions. The bottom is sandy/rocky and the vis was a nice 8-10ft and the water was very clear. Vis dropped off due to the tanic water but it was just dark outside the vis...

    Coulonge River info?

Hi folks, Just wondering if any of you have dove the Coulonge river in the Mansfield area? I have a cottage on it and I'm thinking about taking a dip this weekend to explore. Just curious if anyone has done it and what I might expect to run into vis wise. I'm also curious about the abundance of...

    Diving near Cornwall.

I'm so happy to hear Ron's still doing his thing, I thought he'd sold the shop years ago. I was a regular fixture on his Wednesday evening charters out of brockville, $10 random drift dive with pickup service couldn't be beat :)

    Diving near Cornwall.

I'm not certified to teach anything :) Generally you just find someone who uses them and learn, along with lots of reading/research. I did take a class when I switched over to side mount but that was only because I didn't know anyone out this way who dove them and that config can be tricky...

    Diving near Cornwall.

Cool lets plan a run to lock 21 and lock 23. Without a scooter you won't get to the Dominion dive, it's about a 30min run from Guindon park. Oh almost forgot about the Gaskin, it's a wreck that's doable from shore if you have doubles. It's located in Brockville and is a nice dive. As for fills...

    Diving near Cornwall.

Dude there is nothing but good diving all over that area. East Cliff Hall mentioned above is a sweet dive, big old freighter sitting in about 70ft of water. High current but most of your dive would be sheltered by the wreck. Definitely require a charter unless you have a beefy scooter (about 70...

Gaskin + Lillie Parsons Dives Or Others?

Ha now I'm going to convince you to do the wrecks requiring a passport :) If you grab a charter through islanddivers you fill out all your info (passport etc) 24hrs before departing. They send all the info over the night before and clearing customs is just a verification process, usually pretty...

Confederation Park Unidentified Shipwreck Hamilton ON 2016

Ya fortunately it's close to shore :) I was surprised at the clarity of the water though, very pleasant little dive. I'm really keen to go out and see whatever it is that's sitting just west of the wreck. Access there looks much easier as well.

Confederation Park Unidentified Shipwreck Hamilton ON 2016

Ya I really like the Rothesay, so many fish and eels when the water warms up and so easy to get to. If you haven't done lock 21 yet put it on your radar. Looking at google maps it seems the best access is at the bench, in front of what looks like 3 big trees. Is that the scrub you're revering to?

Confederation Park Unidentified Shipwreck Hamilton ON 2016

You don't spend much time in the St. Lawrence I see :) There are 100's of meters of lines running to sites all throughout it, Lock21, Gaskin, Rothesay, Kingshorn the list goes on. However looking at google earth and your vid it would be pretty hard to miss. I don't know how nicely I can ask but...
